 During the season (April to October) details of the walks and boat trips which I am planning will be published here and updated on a weekly basis.

If you are visiting Scilly and would like to visit a particular uninhabited island, please contact me two to three weeks in advance and I will try to arrange it while you are here.

The Community Archaeology Group will be carrying out vegetation clearance around the post-mediaeval lookout on Beacon Hill, Tresco. This is in support of Cornwall Archaeological Unit's 'Porths and Gigs of the Isles of Scilly' project.

Meet at the 'Scilly Walks' board on St Mary's Quay at 9.45am to catch the 10.15am boat to Tresco, or at New Grimsby Quay at about 10.45am. We will finish in time to catch the 2.15pm boat back to Tresco, or you can stay on Tresco for the afternoon. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, including walking shoes, and bring a picnic lunch and a hot drink. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Thursday 2nd May

Guided walk on Tean. No need to book. Beach landing by dinghy, so be prepared to paddle! Please wear long trousers (not shorts) and walking shoes or trainers. Meet at the ‘Scilly Walks’ board on St. Mary’s Quay at 1.45pm, return c5.00pm. Price: Adults £10.00, children £5.00 (cash only please), plus boat fare.
